JC Promotions was started on a whim in May of '07 by 17 year old Jessica Caplan. Jess was introduced to the idea of band promoting by Mama Trash earlier in the year. Mama Trash, whom Jess met through The 69 Eyes Street Team, introduced her to several different bands including The Becoming, who quickly became good friends, and an amazing starter band for Jess and JC Promotions. During the summer of '07 a new band appeared before Jess: Darkmiracle. This band from the sunny Dominican Republic became close friends with Jess and asked her to join them as their promoter. She accepted. Just a couple of months after this Jess found herself with another band: Naked Under Our Clothes. A much more local band; NUOC has become her number one band. The band Sendelica from the UK joined the repitoire as well in January of '08, though not as easily accesable as NUOC, Jess still feels privileged to be able to work side by side with such great guys. Very quickly in February Jess started talking with El de Gloveo a band from the same neck of the woods as Naked Under Our Clothes, Vincenness Indiana, and they as well joined JC Promotions.

When you take JC Promotions on as your promoter, you are guaranteed to be working with one of the best promoters in the midwest. Jess becomes everything for your band but your manager. She can book you shows, make you street teams, increase your fan base, and get you new equipment if you're old equipment breaks.

The new generation of band promotion has been born.
